NPA rebels kill 8 troops on 'Winnie' rescue mission--Army

from inq7.net. NPA rebels kill 8 troops on 'Winnie' rescue mission--Army. "The soldiers were on their way to conduct rescue mission when ambushed by the communist rebels. This act is condemnable," Army spokesman Major Bartolome Bacarro said.

I posted this because one of the soldier who was killed in the ambush was from Baler - Eric Angara from Buhangin.

I never had the chance to enter this website but because of my desire to hear more about the devastating news regarding the flood flash in Dingalan, Baler and other towns in Aurora, I asked my daughter for your e-mail add and this what I've seen. Thank you so much, I'm really dying to hear more. You're very good, Joseph. More power to you.

I share the same idea with the one who posted ahead of me. I really couldn't decipher why those people who tagged themselves as just wanting equality and peace are the same group of people who just brings the opposite of what they claimed to be their goal of arming themselves.

Just a quick note to the first one who posted a message on this article: The people of Cemento are already evacuated to the Boy Scout Camp site. I was told that there is a pretty huhe concrete building there that accomodates people from that area. Although there are some families who also found their refuge in ASCOT.

Let's all pray that God will keep everybody safe!

My friends are having something for the victims of the last three devastating typhoons. How can I possibly go to Dingalan via Bongabon, Nueva Ecija? How far is it? Travel time?

Other group will come from San Fernando, Pampanga. What are the shortest routes? Travel time?

Please advice.
