Found: Logging Photos

Technorati pointed me to this loads of photos of logging operations in Casiguran. Posted by a certain "casiguranin" from the pioneering Aurora online group casiguran dot com. It was posted more than a year ago and I must have been in Pluto then because I failed to see it. Anyway, better late than later :-).

I noticed that the BB demographics cares more about the looks of the Ms. Baler candidates than what's happening to the environment of Aurora. Compare the number of comments on these two posts.

There must be something wrong.

not to sound too defensive but comparing the statistics based on the comments on the entries is a poor benchmark for claiming what the bb visitors care about. people from aurora have been devastated by natural calamities many times over. and i am sure that most of the bb demographics have been affected one way or another.

if you're looking for concerned remarks, try the messageboard and you'll see just how precipitate your comment sounds.

'yung tungkul sa baha last year?

Hindi po nawala yung topic sa logging. Nandun laang. I just locked it because comments are getting too personal. Any member can start a new thread if they want.

This maybe still too early but i doubth it. Shame on those people if they can not do something to stop that damn logging operations in Aurora or at least prosecute those who were involved. It's not even a year that passed yet and there it is. Nasaan na iyung bills na nagsasabing complete banning of any logging? Nasaan na iyung death penalty for anyone caugth doing such logging? This is the rigth time for you to move or at least hear something from you of what is being done against these culprits. Tang-inang puru destabilizing efforts ang narinig ng mga Pilipino the whole year and yet this one...NONE!
